Water Science

Hello and welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Water Science at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences and the Resch School of Engineering. I am formally trained as an environmental engineer, and my research interests are related to the biogeochemical processes that impact the fate and transport of contaminants and nutrients in aqueous environments. I am particularly interested in groundwater systems and near surface soils and sediments that experience redox transitions driven by oxygen or iron availability.

The Water Science Program at UW-Green Bay integrates hands-on learning and research opportunities with training related to fundamental water concepts in biology, chemistry, physics, math, and environmental science. Graduates from our program pursue careers in fields such as hydrogeology, storm water management, water treatment, contaminant transport, and aquatic ecology.
